Gaza Can Build Six Pyramids From Its Mass Debris

The rubble generated from Israeli strikes on the different buildings in Gaza since 7 October, 2023 can build up to six pyramids.

This calculation has been recently unveiled by the Richest Report  which has also stated that the volume of each side of these pyramids would be 6.4 million tons.

Based on UN sources it is suggested the mass bombing of Gaza and the mass destruction it entailed  – in terms of buildings, residential blocs, towers, government facilities has created 39 million tons  of debris, that is 107 kilograms per square meter and five times the 2007 battle of Mosul in Iraq.

This issue is now trending as part of different hashtags including  #FreePalestine #CeaseFireNow #Palestine #Israel #Gaza #yenisafakenglish.

Further, the enormous amount of debris in Gaza – all in 364 square kilometers – was made in the past nine months through the 75,000 tons of explosives Israel  dropped on the enclave, reducing its infrastructure to rubble. This relentless bombing campaign included the use of mass bombs and ammunition dating back to 1953, as confirmed by Israeli reports and quoted by the Quds News Network.

Put another way the rubble in Gaza can fill New York’s Central Park to a height of 8 meters.

On another level the UN Environment Program stated in a report last month that the 39 million tons of debris is having a profound effect on people and the environment.

The report emphasized “intensive bombardment by Israel has led to unprecedented intensity of destruction in terms of infrastructure, productive assets and service delivery,” whilst at the same time Gaza exposed to risks of soil, water and air pollution, causing irreversible damage to its natural ecosystems.
