Who is The Son of a Bi***?

“That son of a bi***, Bibi Netanyahu, he’s a bad guy!” US President Joe Biden declared privately about the Israeli prime minister to one of his associates in the spring of 2024 as Israel’s war in Gaza intensified, journalist Bob Woodward writes in his new book, “War.”

Woodward’s new book, which was obtained by CNN ahead of its October 15 release, gives an in-the-room account of key moments as Biden and his national security team navigate international crises, from the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal to confronting Putin before he invaded Ukraine to private battles with Netanyahu.

Asked about the details that Woodward reports about Biden and Netanyahu, White House senior deputy press secretary Emilie Simons told reporters Tuesday, “They have a long-term relationship. They have a very honest and direct relationship, and I don’t have a comment on those specific anecdotes.”

“What’s your strategy, man?” Biden asked Netanyahu during an April phone call, Woodward reports.

“We have to go into Rafah,” Netanyahu said.

“Bibi, you’ve got no strategy.” Biden responded.

That same month, Israel launched a strike in Syria that killed a top general in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, prompting Iran to launch more than 100 ballistic missiles in response, the first time that Iran had fired missiles from its territory directly at Israel.

Netanyahu wanted to retaliate.

Biden told Netanyahu on a call to “take the win,” though the Israeli prime minister pushed back. “You don’t need to make another move. Do nothing,” Biden said.

In the end, Israel launched a limited strike against Iran, which Biden considered a win.

“I know he’s going to do something but the way I limit it is tell him to ‘Do nothing,’” Biden told his advisers, according to Woodward.

But Biden’s frustration with Netanyahu boiled over as the war in Gaza continued to escalate.

“He’s a fucking liar,” Biden said privately of Netanyahu, after Israel went into Rafah, Woodward writes.

“Bibi, what the fuck?” Biden yelled at Netanyahu in July after an Israeli airstrike killed a top Hezbollah military commander and three civilians in Beirut, according to Woodward.

“You know the perception of Israel around the world increasingly is that you’re a rogue state, a rogue actor,” Biden said to Netanyahu.

Netanyahu responded that the target was “one of the leading terrorists.”

“We saw an opportunity and took it,” Netanyahu said. “The harder you hit, the more successful you’re going to be in the negotiation” according to the Quds News Network.

US ‘Appalled’ by Smotrich’s Starvation of Gaza Remarks

The US administration is “appalled” by remarks made by the Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich Monday of starving the entire population of Gaza as “justified and moral” to release the Israeli prisoners.

“We are appalled by these comments and reiterate that this rhetoric is harmful and disturbing,” a State Department spokesperson said in a statement to The Times of Israel according to the Quds News Network.

The statement added that US President Joe Biden and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken have repeatedly stressed “the need to end the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, remove any obstacles to the flow of aid and restore basic services for those in need”.

Meanwhile British Foreign Secretary David Lammy called on the Israeli occupation government to retract and slam Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich’s remarks on starving the entire population of Gaza.

He said in a post on X, “There can be no justification” for the statements. “International law could not be more clear – the deliberate starvation of civilians is a war crime,” Lammy added.

Speaking at a conference hosted by the Israel Hayom outlet on Monday, Smotrich expressed support for blocking aid to the Gaza Strip but said Israel lacked international legitimacy to do so.

“We are bringing in aid because there is no choice,” the far-right minister said.

“We can’t, in the current global reality, manage a war. Nobody will let us cause two million civilians to die of hunger even though it might be justified and moral until our hostages are returned,” he added.

He said that Israel needed “international legitimacy for this war”.

For about 10 months, the Israeli occupation has imposed a tight siege on the Gaza Strip, extremely limiting the flow of life-saving essential food and medical items.

In June, independent UN investigators said Israel was using starvation on the Palestinian population as a weapon of war. The hunger crisis has led to the death of dozens of people due to malnutrition, mostly children according to the Quds News Network.

Americans Are Not Happy With Netanyahu But…

The video of Benjamin Netanyahu, especially made by the Israeli Prime Minister calling on US President Joe Biden to resume the supplies of 2000-pound bombs to Israel has been getting mixed receptions from those on the social media and US politicians.

One sees Netanyahu as “begging” for the re-supply of the destructive MK86 buster bombs, initially and willingly provided by the United States, so that Israel can drop on different parts of Gaza.

Back in May Biden said he would put a “pause” on the supply of these bombs because Netanyahu was in the process of ordering his troops to enter Gaza and to give him these kinds of bombs would literally obliterate the southern city as he did elsewhere in the Gaza Strip.

Another blogger sees Netanyahu as a “genocidal monster” who is accusing Biden of withholding the mass weapons and quoting him in the video as “I say: Give us the tools and we will finish the job a lot faster.”

Netanyahu is definitely ungracious in his approach, he overlooks the fact that if it wasn’t for the United States the war on Gaza would have long finished. Despite this however, many argue the Israeli army is in a state of “lethargy” because of the high number of deaths among its ranks and the destruction of its military hardware with tank and convoy losses.

The blogger says Israel has used 70,000 tons of bombs to drop on Gaza in the past eight months. These are more than the combined total of bombs dropped on Dresden, Hamburg and London in World War II. And it is thanks to American air- and sea-supplies of planes bombs and missiles that maintained the slaughter on Gaza going.

Another blogger says Netanyahu is upset because Biden “temporarily” held up one shipment of these massive bombs. “He needs them because there are still some civilians left in Gaza that he hasn’t slaughtered yet.”

The video has appeared to upset many Americans as well. One former US Ambassador to Israel says two things must be done now: Congressional leaders must cancel their invitation to Netanyahu to speak in front of the US Congress; and this invitation must be conditional on an apology he must make to the Biden administration.

Yet another American doctor says “I really don’t know why Biden puts up with Netanyahu at all. He’s a thug who did his best to undermine Obama and is doing the same to Biden. A pity the Israeli lobby is so strong in the US.”

Another blast however comes from Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who says “this man should not be addressing Congress. He is a war criminal. And he certainly has no regard for US law, which is explicitly designed to prevent US weapons from facilitating human rights abuses. He is invitation should be revoked. It should’ve never been sent in the first place.
