‘Gaza Destruction Defies Belief’

This is what Jan Egeland, secretary-general of the Norwegian Refugee Council wrote, Tuesday:

Returning to Gaza now, I see destruction that defies belief, from Rafah, via Khan Yunis, to Gaza City. This is destruction of an entire society of more than 2 million people, in a densely populated, small, confined territory. This is in no way “self-defence.”
