Four Palestinians Killed as Israeli Warplanes Target UN Training Center

At least four Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a UN training center west of Gaza City on Sunday, medical sources told Anadolu.

Israeli warplanes struck the headquarters of the Vocational Training College operated by UNRWA, according to witnesses.

Massive damage was reported at the site.

At least 60 people were killed in relentless Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours, according to Palestinian medical sources.

Thousands of Israelis Demand Deal, Netanyahu’s Dismissal

Thousands of Israelis protested Saturday, in Tel Aviv, Caesarea and occupied Jerusalem. They demanded a hostage swap deal with Hamas holding the Israeli hostages – with the figure now down to 120 – since 7 October, 2023.

Thousands of Israelis protested in the “Kidnapped Soldiers’ Square” in Tel Aviv, demanding the return of the hostages through a deal with Hamas and the dismissal of the Benjamin Netanyahu’s government through early elections Anadolu reported.

Yedioth Ahronoth reported the demonstration was the largest in Tel Aviv since 7 October.

As well, thousands protested at the Paris Square in the city center of occupied Jerusalem; They also demanded a hostage deal, according to Israeli Channel 12.

And the same was the case in downtown Caesarea where protested marched to Netanyahu’s residence and called for his “immediate” resignation.

Knesset member Gilad Kariv took part in that demonstration where protesters accused Netanyahu and his government of being “responsible” for the deaths of dozens of hostages in Gaza.

Former Defense Minister Benny Gantz, who left the now-dissolved War Cabinet, also participated in demonstrations in the “Kiryat Gat” settlement in the Negev, where protesters demanded a hostage swap deal, the Turkish news agency reported.

More than 37,500 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza, most of them women and children, and nearly 86,000 injured, according to local health authorities.

More than eight months into the Israeli war, vast tracts of Gaza lie in ruins amid a crippling blockade of food, clean water and medicine.

24 Killed in Shati Camp in Fog of Smoke

Israel is relentless in its bombings. Today is the turn of Al Shati Camp in the center of Gaza. It is part of the continual Israeli massacres that took away 41 lives combined with the devastating military actions in Al Tuffah neighborhood of Gaza City.  

Israeli bombardments resulted in the further destruction of one area of the Al Shati Camp where strikes took the lives of 24 people.

While the missiles were striking scores of civilians, mostly women and children were heard in a videoclip screaming in a fog of cement and soot as Israeli warplanes bombed three residential buildings.

Men and women were scurrying carrying children that were either killed and/or injured.

Another harrowing experience for the people of Gaza, the Israeli attacks on the camp is trending in opaque videos and images.

There are no Hamas fighters here, Israeli warplanes were targeting a residential square where people were killed in a blink of an eye.

Eyewitnesses said a total of 20 houses were bombed in the area resulting in their total and/or partial destruction.

Israeli Army Kills 450 Students Preparing For High School

The Israeli army killed 450 Palestinian children since 7 October, 2023. They would have enrolled in high school this year.

Palestinian Education Ministry spokesman Sadiq Al Khadour was speaking Saturday on the start of the high schools exams in the occupied West Bank.

He emphasized that due to the war, exams won’t be held in Gaza most of whose schools were destroyed by Israeli bombardment.

Al Khadour added 430 students from Gaza and 20 from the West Bank were preparing to enter high school but were killed by the Israeli army.

 About 50,000 students took the high school exams this while 39,000 pupils were unable to do so because of the ongoing Israeli war on Gaza.

The Israeli brutal offensive has destroyed 110 schools and universities and partially damaged 321. The government media office in Gaza stated the military bombardment of many parts of the Gaza Strip resulted in the killing of over 10,000 students according to TRTWorld.

More than 37,000 civilians have been killed in the Israeli war on Gaza with the injury of over 85,000 most of whom are women and children.

EU Chief Condemns IRCC Office Shelling in Gaza

Josep Borrell, EU foreign policy chief, says the European Union  condemns the shelling of the ICRC (International Committee of the Red Cross) office in Gaza by Israel.

The shelling led to dozens of casualties. Borrell called for an independent investigation to hold those responsible for the shelling.

He said that protection of civilians is an obligation under the Geneva Conventions adding the ICRC must be able to carry out all it Geneva Conventions duties in safety, including humanitarian protection, assistance to the victims and access to safety.  

In a statement by the ICRC office is stated that “heavy-caliber projectiles landed within meters of the office and residences of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Friday, afternoon.”

It added “the strike damaged the structure of the ICRC office, which is surrounded by hundreds of displaced civilians living in tents, including many “of our Palestinian colleagues.”

The statement went on: “This incident caused a mass casualty influx at the nearby Red Cross Field Hospital. The hospital was receiving 22 killed, 45 injured and reports of additional casualties.”

The ICRC have called this as a “grave security incident” as “one of several in recent days”, adding that “previously stray bullets have reached ICRC structure.”
