Divest

The Canadian Association of Professional Employees (CAPE) has voted to divest from Israeli-owned and pro-Isreal business.

During the past month, members of the association, who represents 25,000 employees in the federal government, voted to adopt a resolution calling to withdraw “investments from Israeli-owned companies and from all international companies that provide financial support to sustain the illegal occupation of Palestinian land.”

“CAPE stands firmly with Palestinians in their struggle for freedom and equality. We uplift their call for an end to the ongoing genocide in Gaza and for an end to over 75 years of illegal occupation,” the association said on X.
