Israel Kills 560 Palestinian Footballers, Trainers – Sports Official

Secretary-general of the Palestinian Union For Sports Media Mustapha Siyam said that the Israeli occupation killed more than 1012 sportsmen and scouts in the Gaza Strip since it began war offensive on 7 October, 2023. He added that during this war Israel killed 560 footballers and their trainers. Siyam pointed out that Israel destroyed all the official Palestinian sports institutions in the Gaza Strip and the football fields were turned into places for thousands of families displaced in this war on the enclave.

    CROSSFIREARABIA – The Religious Ministry in Gaza has succeeded in rehabilitating tens of mosques affected by the Israeli attacks on the enclave. And this is despite the fact that there is depletion in construction material. All mosques in Gaza – 1275 – were affected, including the Al Omari Great Mosque which is the oldest in Gaza City. Media Officer in the Ministry Ikrami Al Mudalal said the ministry worked, and with limited resources to expand 17 temporary prayer halls, rehabilitated 15 mosques and renovated 51 prayer halls.  Al Mudalal added the occupation has not stopped wanting to destroy mosques, the last one – the Mutaqeen Mosques in west Gaza city –  two weeks ago. He pointed out that of the 1275 mosques in Gaza, 1076 were totally destroyed.

    Earlier Dr. Mark Perlmutter, a Jewish-American orthopedic and hand surgeon from North Carolina known for his humanitarian medical missions, publicly recounted witnesses at Nasser Hospital in Gaza told him they saw Israeli soldiers bury two bound children alive in a mass grave using a bulldozer.

    He said the children were later found with their hands tied behind their backs after the grave was excavated. He added that further evidence has since been compiled and that the account is among the evidence being pursued before the International Court of Justice.
