Presenter Lina Ghreis was born in Jerusalem in 1935 and later settled with her family in Amman after the Nakba. She worked as a news anchor and program presenter on Jordanian Television from 1968 for a quarter of a century. She was famous for presenting children’s programs and the game show “Television Cup.” She conducted numerous interviews with Arab and international figures in the fields of politics, culture, and media. After retiring from Jordanian Television, she worked for Arab Radio and Television (ART). Lina Ghreis was a highly skilled and eloquent presenter, a brilliant interviewer, and a highly professional media personality with a strong presence. She passed away on February 25, 2023, at the age of 88.
