The internationally renowned Palestinian artist, Hani Rashid Shehadeh Al-Kaswani, residing in the United States, found no more a beautiful subject than his mother, Khadija Hassan Al-Kaswani, to paint in the traditional dress of the villages northwest of Jerusalem. It is specifically the village of Beit Iksa.
And your face, my mother, remains my homeland in my exile.
As said by Lloyd Miller
The state of Israel has a right to exist but not at the expense of Palestinians, the Israeli government is doing the same things the Germans did to them in the beginning of the holocaust. Turning a blind eye to the atrocities happening now and the United States is aiding and abetting Netanyahu and the Israeli regime.
