In Memory of Shireen Abu Akleh

In memory of the two-year anniversary of the killing Shireen Abu Akleh, an Aljazeera television journalist and who was assassinated by an Israeli bullet. In commentary on his painting artist Said Elata said: This is my painting of Shireen Abu Akleh, who was killed by Israeli forces, and who proceeded to beat the friends and family of the people who were carrying Shireen’s coffin at her funeral. Change is necessary, and Shireen’s passing shall not be forgotten. I honor and remember her beautiful life and what she stood for with my artwork.
