Americans Are Not Happy With Netanyahu But…

The video of Benjamin Netanyahu, especially made by the Israeli Prime Minister calling on US President Joe Biden to resume the supplies of 2000-pound bombs to Israel has been getting mixed receptions from those on the social media and US politicians.

One sees Netanyahu as “begging” for the re-supply of the destructive MK86 buster bombs, initially and willingly provided by the United States, so that Israel can drop on different parts of Gaza.

Back in May Biden said he would put a “pause” on the supply of these bombs because Netanyahu was in the process of ordering his troops to enter Gaza and to give him these kinds of bombs would literally obliterate the southern city as he did elsewhere in the Gaza Strip.

Another blogger sees Netanyahu as a “genocidal monster” who is accusing Biden of withholding the mass weapons and quoting him in the video as “I say: Give us the tools and we will finish the job a lot faster.”

Netanyahu is definitely ungracious in his approach, he overlooks the fact that if it wasn’t for the United States the war on Gaza would have long finished. Despite this however, many argue the Israeli army is in a state of “lethargy” because of the high number of deaths among its ranks and the destruction of its military hardware with tank and convoy losses.

The blogger says Israel has used 70,000 tons of bombs to drop on Gaza in the past eight months. These are more than the combined total of bombs dropped on Dresden, Hamburg and London in World War II. And it is thanks to American air- and sea-supplies of planes bombs and missiles that maintained the slaughter on Gaza going.

Another blogger says Netanyahu is upset because Biden “temporarily” held up one shipment of these massive bombs. “He needs them because there are still some civilians left in Gaza that he hasn’t slaughtered yet.”

The video has appeared to upset many Americans as well. One former US Ambassador to Israel says two things must be done now: Congressional leaders must cancel their invitation to Netanyahu to speak in front of the US Congress; and this invitation must be conditional on an apology he must make to the Biden administration.

Yet another American doctor says “I really don’t know why Biden puts up with Netanyahu at all. He’s a thug who did his best to undermine Obama and is doing the same to Biden. A pity the Israeli lobby is so strong in the US.”

Another blast however comes from Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who says “this man should not be addressing Congress. He is a war criminal. And he certainly has no regard for US law, which is explicitly designed to prevent US weapons from facilitating human rights abuses. He is invitation should be revoked. It should’ve never been sent in the first place.

Diary of a Palestinian Prisoner

A Palestinian journalist from Gaza described multiple instances of torture, abuse and rape that he and other detainees endured at the Israeli Sde Teiman detention camp.

Mohammed Saber Arab, 42, detailed his harrowing experiences to his lawyer, Khaled Mahajneh, during a recent visit to the detention center as reported by Anadolu.

Arab, who worked as a correspondent for Al Araby TV, was detained from Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza amid a large-scale Israeli assault in March.

The Commission of Detainees’ Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners Society confirmed in a joint statement the visit by Mahajneh to Arab, who had been unaware of his location in the Sde Teiman camp until the lawyer informed him, the Turkish news agency added.

The statement highlighted Arab’s testimony as one of many disturbing accounts from released Gaza detainees about the inhumane conditions of their captivity.

These accounts include reports of detainees dying as well as enduring torture, abuse and rape.

Arab said that detainees are kept blindfolded and handcuffed 24 hours a day. He noted that for 50 days, he had not changed his clothes and was only allowed to change his pants before the visit.

Detainees are subjected to continuous torture, physical and sexual abuse and humiliation, leading to deaths among them, he said.

He noted that conversations between detainees are prohibited, with severe beatings as punishment for violations, forcing detainees to talk to themselves and silently pray as they are deprived of religious practices.

The journalist pointed out that some detainees had their limbs amputated and bullets removed without anesthesia.

The detainees are constantly surrounded by police dogs, and only four detainees are allowed one minute in the bathroom at a time, with punishments for exceeding this limit. They sleep on the ground, using their shoes as pillows, he added.

He revealed that bathing is permitted once a week for only one minute and sleeping during the day is not allowed.

Arab also said that 50 days after his arrest, he was finally allowed to shave, and meals consist of small portions of labneh, or strained yogurt, and pieces of cucumber or tomato, which are provided consistently.

Since the war in Gaza began, the Israeli army has detained thousands of Palestinians, including women, children, health care workers and civil defense teams.

A small number have been released, while the fate of the remaining detainees remains unknown.

Israel, flouting a UN Security Council resolution demanding an immediate cease-fire, has faced international condemnation amid its continued brutal offensive on Gaza since an Oct. 7, 2023 attack by the Palestinian group Hamas.

Nearly 37,400 Palestinians have since been killed in Gaza, most of them women and children, and more than 85,400 others injured, according to local health authorities, Anadolu reported.

Over eight months into the Israeli war, vast tracts of Gaza lay in ruins amid a crippling blockade of food, clean water and medicine.

Israel stands accused of genocide at the International Court of Justice, whose latest ruling ordered it to immediately halt its operation in the southern city of Rafah, where over a million Palestinians had sought refuge from the war before it was invaded on May 6.

Israel Destroyed 67% of Gaza’s Sanitation

About “67% of water, sanitation facilities and infrastructure have been destroyed or damaged” in the Gaza Strip since 7 October, the UN Relief Agency for Palestine (UNRWA) stated Wednesday.

There is neither water nor sanitation in the whole of the Gaza Strip. With sewers destroyed, filthy water run in the streets and neighborhoods that have been destroyed.

The agency emphasized the urgent need for action according to a press statement published in Anadolu.

“As infectious diseases continue to spread and temperatures rise, the lack of hygiene and dehydration pose a severe threat to the health of people across Gaza,” it wrote on X.

UNRWA plays a vital role in providing life-saving services to registered Palestine refugees; however, the recent destruction of essential infrastructure in Gaza exacerbates an already precarious situation, leaving many without access to clean water and sanitation facilities, the Turkish news said.

‘You Can’t Beat Hamas’ Israeli Army Spokesman Says

In what is seen as a slap in the face for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli army spokesman speaks out and out of turn! “You can’t beat Hamas,” he blurts out because of so many reasons.

Promises to destroy Palestinian resistance group Hamas are “misleading,” Daniel Hagari said Wednesday as reported in Anadolu.

He said the goal of the “total destruction of Hamas” is like “throwing sand in the public’s eyes, a quote which is trending all over the social media.

His comments come as a swipe against the country’s current political leadership who are determined to eradicate Hamas despite all odds and are continuing a genocidal war against the civilians of Gaza to attempt to do it.

“Anyone promising to eradicate Hamas is misleading the public,” Hagari told the broadcaster Channel 13 as reported in the Turkish news agency.

In a frank tone, he said  “Hamas is an idea. Those who think it can be made to disappear are wrong,” he said after having been daily reporting on the Israeli war on Gaza for the last eight months.

Hagari stressed if the government “doesn’t find an alternative — it (Hamas) will remain” in Gaza.

From the start of the war on Gaza after 7 October Netanyahu has reiterated that Israel’s key objective is to destroy Hamas and has not listened to anyone else who expressed scepticism about meeting this goal and which they say is not feasible.

Meanwhile Israeli society is breaking to pieces. The 120 or so hostages have not been released, the Israeli army is in a bad situation because of the real number of deaths, injured and those in need of psychological help, the economy is in tatters and many Israelis are leaving the country.

Hagari discussed the army’s announcement on June 8 about the release of four captives in a military operation in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. “It is not possible to release all hostages through military operations,” he acknowledged as reported by Anadolu.

More that 37,000 has been killed in Gaza through the Israeli bombings with over 85,000 being injured.

Gaza Sits on 39 Million Tons of Debris

The piles of wreckage, rubble and debris continues to mount in Gaza because of the continuing Israeli bombing and missile strikes.

The UN Environmental Program (UNEP) states in its recent report that constant Israeli bombing of Gaza has created 39 million tons of debris since 7 October, 2023.

The UNEP explained the amount of debris is the equivalent of 107 kilograms of rubble per square meter of the 364-kilometer enclave.

These figures are trending on the social media #IsraeliNewNazism #StopArmingIsrael #GazaHolocasut #GenocideJoe #GazaGenocide #IsraeliTerrorists #Israel #USA #Palestine

These figures speak of an environmental catastrophe which is causing a major damage to the eco-system of the enclave and much contamination through unexploded arms and missile falling on to the strip.

The constant bombing has created soil erosion, ruined the water and piping systems as well as feeling the atmosphere with pollution.

created unprecedented soil, water and air pollution in the region, whilest destroying sanitation systems and leaving tons of debris from explosive devices.
