From Palestine History: This is a rare photograph from inside the Abu Taha family palace in the Ajami neighborhood of Yafa in what was known as the whole of Palestine. The Abu Taha household was one of the most prominent families in the city. They were known for exporting oranges all over the world. The photograph dates from 1940.
