CROSSFIREARABIA – The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,098 Palestinians, with 173,571 others injured since October 7, 2023 according to medical sources, Monday. Hospitals across the enclave received five bodies over the past 24 hours, including three newly-recovered victims, in addition to seven people who were injured. Since the ceasefire that took effect on 11 October 2025, the death toll reached 1,072, while the number of injuries spiked to 3,463. The sources noted 799 bodies have also been recovered during the same period.
Rescue teams recovered the bodies of eight Palestinian martyrs on Monday from beneath the rubble of a house in Gaza City that was destroyed in an earlier Israeli airstrike. The teams said they recovered eight bodies and human remains from under the rubble of the Safadi family home in the Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City. They added that search operations are ongoing for missing persons believed to be trapped beneath the rubble of the Jadallah family home in the same neighborhood according to the Palestinian Wafa news agency.
