Layali Al Khatib: First Palestinian Contender Into Space

Palestinian student Layali Al-Khatib, 18, an engineering student at Palestine Polytechnic University, has achieved a remarkable scientific milestone after passing complex international tests and standards, becoming the youngest astronaut candidate in the world.

This achievement comes after years of passion for astronomy and specialized research in gravity and space robotics, in addition to her participation in international conferences and competitions. Layali affirms that her success represents an achievement for Palestine and a message of hope for Arab youth aspiring to enter the field of space science.

An Israeli strike resulted in the killing of the Director of the Internal Security Service in the Central Governorate of Gaza announced the Ministry of Interior, Sunday.

Since the ceasefire was declared on October 11, the number of martyrs due to violations has reached 1,202, while the number of wounded has risen to 3,888 since the agreement, brokered by the US, Qatar, and Egypt, came into effect.
