Israeli Admits to Destroying 96,000 Gaza Homes

The Israeli occupation army admitted to destroying about 96,000 Palestinian homes in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the aggression on the enclave last 7 October. They claimed these homes were “booby-trapped.”

The Israeli Army Radio stated in a report, Wednesday, that “96,000 homes were destroyed in Gaza since the beginning of the war on Gaza, including about 14,000 houses in the city of Rafah in the southern tip Gaza Strip”. The radio claimed these were destroyed on the grounds that they were “booby-trapped buildings,” it said.

“The building that was seized and exploded in Rafah, Tuesday, killing four soldiers and wounding five others, is one of thousands of buildings that Hamas has booby-trapped in Rafah,” it claimed.

“What was known as the threat of booby-trapped buildings, which led to the killing of many soldiers in Gaza since the beginning of the ground maneuver on 27 October, 2023, became known in Rafah as the threat of booby-trapped neighborhoods.”

“There is not a single booby-trapped building in Rafah, but rather groups of 30-40 buildings, and all that is required is a small camera installed in one of them to film the entry of our forces, and to know when the activation mechanism is activated remotely,” the occupation army radio claimed.

According to statistics from the Gaza Government Media Iffice in Gaza on 15 September, the Israeli occupation army destroyed 350,000 homes completely or partially during the war on Gaza, as well as 825 mosques completely or partially and 3 churches.

The Israeli occupation forces, supported by the United States and Europe, continue to commit the crime of genocide in the Gaza Strip, for the 348th consecutive day, by launching dozens of airstrikes and artillery shelling, while committing massacres against civilians, amid a catastrophic humanitarian situation resulting from the siege and the displacement of more than 95 percent of the population according to Quds Press.

Lebanon Under Cyber Attack, Israel Owns up!

Israeli sources acknowledged responsibility for a covert attack targeting the communication systems in Lebanon, which resulted in multiple explosions and significant casualties as reported over the past two day by the local and international media.

Israeli intelligence services carried out a two-phase attack, starting, Tuesday with the detonation of pager devices used by Hezbollah members among other people that created death and many injuries in the country.

In a second wave of cyber attacks, Wednesday, Israeli operatives destroyed thousands of walkie-talkies that had been booby-trapped and delivered to Hezbollah as part of the group’s emergency communication system.

According to Lebanese news reports, the explosions caused widespread devastation across the country, with at least three people killed and dozens injured. In total, nine people were killed, including a child, and over 2,800 people were wounded.

Sources familiar with the attacks revealed to Axios that the ultimate goal of the second wave of attacks was to create paranoia and internal mistrust within Hezbollah ranks. The hope, according to Israeli sources, was to encourage Hezbollah to distance itself from Hamas and consider negotiating separately with Israel.

The explosions occurred amidst rising tensions in the region. On Tuesday, a series of blasts destroyed thousands of pager devices across Lebanon, leading to significant casualties. During the funerals of some of the victims on Wednesday, a second series of explosions took place according to the Quds News Network.

Bibi-Gallant: Israeli Politics in Atrocious State

CROSSFIREARABIA – Former Israeli Justice Minister Haim Ramon lashed out at the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Yoav Gallant over the estranged relations between the two men despite Israel’s critical war in Gaza and north of the country.

Netanyahu is under pressure to sack Gallant but somehow he can’t bring himself to do so, fearing a political backlash from his own Likud party. Yet he is under constant pressure from the extreme rightwing like Itamar Ben-Gavir and Bezalel Smotrich who keep threatening to leaving his government and thus bring it down if the war doesn’t continue and Hamas is brought down which many believe is an impossible task.

Meanwhile the United States wants to keep Yoav Gallant who they believe he is more moderate than his prime minister. This emanates from his utterings that the Israel army must not state in the Philadelphia axis but need to withdraw to the back of the Gaza Strip.

Another bone of contention is the fact that Gallant does not widen Israel’s war into Lebanon before the issue of the dwindling hostages – put now at 100-or-so – is resolved. Netanyahu wants the exhausted Israeli army to switch directions and go into Lebanon and thus widen the war and keep it going.

This is something that is against the interests of the United States which believes that the war must be contained within the framework of Israel and Gaza rather then moving to other territories and is continually push for a political solution.
