Israeli Soldiers Blow up a Mosque Second Time

A video clip is currently circulating of Israeli soldiers preparing to blow up a mosque that has already been blown up back in February 2024.

The clip shows Israeli soldiers frolicking in the mosque with one saying “as you can see, guys, a neighborhood in Gaza, I am going to blow the shit out of it! Guys, this is what it looks after its going to blow up! Truth, truth.”

The mosque that was already destroyed was in Khan Younis, the second largest city in Gaza which Israel occupied and bombed beginning last December till April.

The Israeli army has already blown up more that 800 mosques since their war on the Gaza Strip according to the government Media Office in Gaza City. It stated that 600 of these mosques are now fully destroyed.

Attacking mosques and then vandalizing them, destroying and desecrating them has become a favorite past-time for Israeli soldiers in this Israeli war on Gaza.

In one case Israeli soldiers recorded themselves using a destroyed mosque in Rafah as a kitchen after invading the southern city. The footage shows the mosque wall were vandalized with graffiti including insults at Prophet Muhammad whilst the area surrounded by Israeli tanks and trucks according to the Palestine Information Center.

‘Two Years to Knock Out Hamas in Rafah’ – Israeli 12 Brigade Chief

Israeli Commander of the 12th Brigade says dismantling the Hamas structure in Rafah will take at least two years.

Hevri El-Baz said the task of eliminating Hamas is not something easy and this issue requires time and great military pressure that needs to be applied consistently on Hamas fighters operating in Rafah.

The Israeli army entered Rafah on 6 May and they are still battling Palestinian resistance fighters there with daily losses in lives and hardware.

The Israeli military commander says Hamas is waging a guerrilla war made up of independent groups which makes the task of dealing with it more difficult.

These groups are a broad representation of the Palestinian resistance movement including the Islamists Saraya Al Quds and the Abu Ali Mustapha Brigade of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

The Israeli commander warns whoever thinks that the sirens will stop within the next year is throwing sands in the eyes, adding fighting in Rafah is going slowly and Hamas fighters have studied us well.

The comments made by El-Baz are being uttered when there are at least nine brigades operating in this small city. Also, it shows the stiff resistance they are encountering from the different Palestinian armed groups.

The commander is echoing the views made by many Israelis including Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari who openly said Hamas can’t be beaten in Gaza and whoever believes that is throwing sand in the public’s eyes.

Battle For Shujaiyia: 4 Israeli Soldiers Dead, 5 Injured in 48 Hrs

The battle for Al Shujaiyia increases in intensity as a broad Palestinian coalition of fighters that include a brigade from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine stand up to the Israeli occupation invaders.

On the Israeli side, four soldiers were reported dead in less than 48 hours in major battles between Hamas and Saraya Al Quds fighters Israeli soldiers who forced their way into the neigborhood under intense air cover of bombardment.

In the two-day battle now going on into its third, five Israeli soldiers as well are being reported by Al Jazeera as having suffered injuries and taken to hospital inside Israel through helicopters.

The battle is already fierce but the Palestinian resistance forces say they will maintain pressure on the Israeli army to withdraw as they did elsewhere like Jabalia and Biet Lahia.

Experts say the Israeli forces are losing steam as they go in places like Al Shujaiyia; they stay there, bomb, believe they got rid of Palestinian fighters and then leave. Meanwhile Palestinian fighters regroup, redevelop, gain their strength back and are out again in top form.

This scenario is likely to be repeated in the current fighting in Al Shujaiyia. Because of the nature of the Israeli army and its organizational structure, they must follow orders that comes from the political leaders like Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. This makes their job doubly difficult experts say.
