Israeli Bulldozer Runs Over Bleeding Child

An Israeli military bulldozer deliberately ran over a wounded Palestinian child, cutting his body in half while he was still alive, after shooting him and preventing medical aid from reaching him. This premeditated killing reflects extreme brutality and forms part of Israel’s ongoing pattern of targeting Palestinian civilians as a national group in the Gaza Strip within the broader two-year-long genocide.

Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor’s field team documented the injury of 16-year-old Zaher Nasser Shamia from Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip by Israeli forces on Wednesday afternoon, 10 December 2025. The wounded child lay bleeding, with no one able to reach him due to continuous gunfire. Minutes later, a military bulldozer advanced towards him and deliberately ran him over while he was still alive on the ground, splitting his body in two and tearing it into pieces.

In his testimony to Euro-Med Monitor, the child’s uncle said that Shamia had been near the Jabalia Services Club, about 50 metres from the Yellow Line, when Israeli army vehicles arrived at around 9 a.m. near the yellow concrete cubes amid heavy gunfire. Shamia remained in the camp until a friend told him that the army had withdrawn from the Yellow Line. He then walked with a group of friends towards the concrete cubes. As he reached the middle of al-Hadad Street, Israeli forces fired at him, most likely from a quadcopter drone, striking him in the head, according to eyewitnesses. He was seen still moving his head before his friends fled, leaving him lying on the ground.

The child’s uncle added that Israeli forces then fired smoke bombs and advanced towards Zaher’s location. Soldiers dismounted, and military bulldozers arrived to erect a berm in front of the yellow cement blocks. During this time, one of the bulldozers deliberately ran over Zaher’s body as he lay on the ground, tearing it into pieces. His friends were later able to collect the remains and transfer them to Al-Shifa Hospital.

The Israeli army’s repeated practice of running over Palestinians, whether alive or wounded, with tanks and bulldozers, is not a series of isolated incidents but one of the most brutal forms of deliberate killing carried out over the past two years. This reflects an organised policy to dehumanise Palestinians and inflict physical and psychological terror, forming an integral element of the genocide committed against the Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip.

Euro-Med Monitor also documented the Israeli army’s killing of 62-year-old Palestinian Jamal Hamdi Hassan Ashour, who was deliberately run over in the Zeitoun neighbourhood, southeast of Gaza City, on 29 February 2024. Testimonies confirmed that soldiers arrested him, zip-tied his hands, and interrogated him before running him over with an armoured vehicle, crushing first the lower half of his body and then the upper half.

Another compound crime was documented on 27 June 2024, when Israeli forces targeted a family consisting of an elderly mother and her four children, including three daughters and a granddaughter barely a year and a half old, in the Shuja’iyya neighbourhood east of Gaza City. The forces stormed the house, firing live ammunition and grenades inside and forcing the family out. They then detained the injured family members in and around tanks for more than three hours in an active combat zone, using them as human shields. A tank subsequently ran over the mother, 65-year-old Safiya Hassan Musa al Jamal, while she was still alive and in front of her son, killing her in a particularly brutal manner.

On 23 January 2024, Euro-Med Monitor documented an Israeli tank running over a temporary shelter caravan in the Tayba Towers area of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, while members of the Ghannam family were sleeping inside. The attack killed the father and his eldest daughter and injured his wife and three other children.

On 16 December 2023, Israeli tanks and bulldozers ran over displaced people sheltering in tents in the courtyard of Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, killing several individuals, including wounded patients receiving treatment. The machinery also crushed graves, and the bodies of people buried in one side of the courtyard.

Killing Palestinians by running them over with heavy military machinery is among the most brutal methods used by the Israeli army, showing complete disregard for their lives and dignity. This pattern reflects an attempt to destroy Palestinians as a national group in Gaza, reinforced by repeated public incitement to exterminate them and by the impunity enjoyed by perpetrators in the absence of any genuine avenues for accountability at all levels.

Despite the ceasefire agreement of 10 October 2025, Israel continues to kill Palestinian civilians through aerial and artillery bombardment and direct gunfire, resulting in 389 civilian deaths and about 1,000 injuries since the agreement took effect. This pattern forms one dimension of the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip.

This continued killing is accompanied by the deliberate maintenance of deadly living conditions for hundreds of thousands of displaced people, including obstructing the entry of aid and basic lifesaving supplies, blocking reconstruction, and leaving people exposed to cold weather, disease, and collapsing health services. Together, these actions reflect a policy aimed at destroying the Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip, in whole or in part.

The Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court must give special priority to investigating the widespread killing and targeting of the Palestinian civilian population in the Gaza Strip, including the killing of children, the wounded, and the displaced, as well as the imposition of deadly living conditions, as part of the crime of genocide and other crimes within the Court’s jurisdiction. It must also advance towards determining individual responsibility at the highest military and political levels.

States that recognise universal jurisdiction must open criminal investigations into the documented incidents of vehicular attacks, deliberate killings, and other serious violations against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and prosecute all those for whom sufficient evidence of responsibility exists, regardless of their nationality or official position.

States Parties to the Genocide Convention, as well as other influential states, must take concrete and immediate steps to prevent the continuation of genocide in Gaza, including halting the supply of weapons and military support to Israel that are used to commit violations, and reviewing existing political and security cooperation in line with their obligation to prevent, and not contribute to, genocide.

Destroying The Ceasefire

Since the signing of the ceasefire on 10th October 2025 Israel killed at least 347 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Although the Donald Trump team officials in the White House keeps saying how they satisfied are about the maintenance of the Gaza ceasefire, the truce is in a precarious mode. Many expect the ceasefire to be broken any day because of the bloody Israeli military actions and fire on the whole of the Gaza Strip.

Since it took effect last October, Israel violated the truce over 500 times. Israel begun attacking the Gaza Strip at the end of the first week of the ceasefire, and continued thereafter with the average daily killed standing at seven at least.

However, the highest number of those killed was on 29 October, 2025, when 109 people were slaughtered and a reminder of the carnage days of the war. But after that, the number went down significantly. On 19 October the number of those killed went down to 45, 33 on 19 November and at least 21 people on 23 November. Here as well, and although figures may vary, UN experts say at least 70 of those killed were children. Did they pose a threat to the mighty military machine?

This is not to say anything about the number of those injured, a figure conservatively put at 889 and likely to increase as the days go by especially since there is nobody to stop the Israelis.

While the number of those murdered may have gone down drastically, the Israeli war machine continues to bomb different areas of Gaza, from its north, center and south of the Strip, neighborhoods, communities, cities, towns and refugee camps that exist only in names but already lie in debris, heaps of rubbles and destruction.

Biet Hanoon, Jabalia, Biet Lahia, Gaza City, Al Maghazi, Khan Younis and Rafah and more, once thriving population centers have become mounts of rubble and wreckage unfit for human habitations, gorges stumped into the earth with nothing but skewed bricks and mortar.

The Israeli army, and through its air force, has continued to re-bomb schools, mosques, residential building and tattered infrastructures and/or what remained of them. Israeli pilots and/or quite often through drones, are flying over sorrow horizons of destroyed mounts and bombing what is left of a past society, all in search of illusive Palestinian groups they were unable to “flush out” in the last two years of their genocide of Gaza.

The genocide has created a sence of acceptable madness among the Israeli populace that “you bomb as much as you can” twice, thrice, four times and more so the vicious cycle of violence is indelibly printed on helpless civilians who nevertheless, refuse to be expunged.

Today, Gaza is a horror story with its new cold, calculated and unforegiven Israeli masters refusing to accept their new stalemate. They continue to occupy 53 percent of the enclave with them unwilling to quench their thirst for blood but leap into the misery they have created. Just after 10 October, they have demolished 1500 buildings in the areas they control and this is just the beginning for Israel is planning for a long occupation despite the US plan outlined by president Donald Trump on 29 September to end the war on Gaza and start to redevelop the enclave. This is certainly a pipedream.

The killings continue as Israel pays lip service to a US plan outlined at the heart of which is dismantling Hamas and the rest of the Palestinian resistance groups. But the story as plotted by the new political masters of Trump et el., begins here. With the ending of Hamas, the redevelopment of Gaza is supposed to start.

However, everyone is still stuck at stage of one of the plan. Hamas has already set free the 20 remaining Israeli hostages and is yet to handover the final two of the 28 dead hostages it already delivered to the Israeli hostages. God only knows when they will be delivered.

The movement says it has been finding it extremely difficult to search for the remains of the hostages and finding the final two would be a grueling task because of the mass bombing of the enclave whose geography has been drastically altered with people no longer knowing where former places, houses and roads no longer are. They have become alien to a society they lived in all their lives.

Of course, this has become music to the ears of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his extremist government who feel they can continue to bomb Gaza under the eyes of the Americans in a pretext that the final remains of the hostages are still to be delivered and that Israel continues to fight Hamas.

Within this context many observers are saying Israel wants to “lock” the Trump 30-point plan in phase I and doesn’t want to move to stage II because that would mean it’s war objectives was for nothing apart from destroying Gaza: No Palestinian transfer, No end to Hamas and the calls for a Palestinian state growing by the majority of countries of the world.

Despite the close alliance between the United States and Israel, the ultimate aim of the Trump plan – being its end result – is the call for a Palestinian state. Netanyahu has long realized this and this is why he wants to lock Gaza into an initial ceasefire phase in which he will continue to call the violent shots on Gaza.

Starvation in The Gaza Genocide

Gaza is starving. There has never been like it in this Israeli-induced and enforced genocide that has now been going on for about 19 months and counting.

People are literally falling in the streets and in front of the television cameras because of the biting hunger that doesn’t seem to end at the hands of a merciless Israeli enemy.

Of the people who manage to get to the dilapidated and destroyed hospitals they are dropping off on the doors of these institutions with many losing consciousness and even shrieking the last breath of death. And people die while the people in the world looks on with lavish feasts.

UNRWA says Israeli is systematically and willfully starving the Palestinian population into submission; they want them either dead or expel from their ancestral homes in the Gaza Strip. The UN refugee organization says that up to 1 million children are threatened with death through starvation. These figures are given as they are the most natural thing in the world.

This is one of the worst periods of the genocide as Arab and Israeli makers meet in Doha and elsewhere try to end this nightmare but to no avail as politics over-rides common sense and decency.

Dr Mohammad Abu Salmiyah, director of the Al Shifa Hospital says that neither patients nor medical staff nor ancillary personnel in the whole of the Gaza hospitals, which number 36 in total, have had anything to eat in the last 24 hours.

Al Jazeera correspondent Anis Alsharif says neither him nor the other anchors have had a bite to eat since Saturday afternoon because there isn’t any. People around here walk aimless until their last breath of death. Yet people, except for the frail seems to go on, as if their is an ordained hand telling, forcing them to go on.

The Israelis have refused to let anything into Gaza since last March when they realized that there was a possibility that Palestinians would flourish again; and this is after they threw on them around 100,000 tons of bombs, facilitated by their American benefactors – a situation that begun soon after, 7 October, 2023.

There is simply no food into the strip thanks to Israel. Even animal fodder, which Gazans had been reduced to eating in order to survive in the first period of starvation in 2024 and early 2025, has run out. Then fodder like wheat and barely was eaten to survive, but this appears to be the end game.

In this brave new world of starvation and famine, food has become a scarce, nay, non-existent commodity because of Israeli policies to beat the Palestinians with but they will not win despite the evil intentions.

UNRWA continues to appeal to the international community to force Israel to lift its tight and claustrophobic siege on Gaza and let the aid, food and medicine into the strip. Meanwhile, it says it has its cargoes lying in the Sinai Peninsula waiting to be delivered to the starving people of Gaza. It says in its storehouses, it has three months of supplies but it’s waiting for the might of Israel to upon up the borders.

Meanwhile people are continuing to die starting from Rafah, in Khan Younis in the center of the Strip to the far-northern areas in Jabalia, Biet Lahia and Biet Hanoon where fighting is still going on between Palestinian resistance fighters and the Israeli army.

In comes the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation which has since last May tried to provide food parcels at distribution centers run by US and Israeli personnel and which is today turning into a “free-shooting killing field” of starving Palestinian that has young been denounced by the United Nations as “weaponizing food” with very sinister connotations that include depopulating Gaza of its original inhabitants.

Seeing is believing. Palestinians, and on a daily basis, and under the eyes of the world are shot fatally on a daily basis. Take Sunday for example, the number of those that have killed is already in the 60s. As they run to get their food parcels they are shot by Israeli soldiers guarding the distribution centers. They are shot with no compunctions but with a sense of hellish deliverance.

And it is the social media who are narrating, nay “dancing” on the graves of the Palestinians. This war is probably the most documented set of atrocities, but people, the international community, gaze on with a sense of helpless, frustration and complicity. Professor Amos Goldberg, who teaches Holocaust Studies at the Hebrew University, doesn’t mince words. He says this is a “disgusting genocide”.

Israel Kills Journalist No 220 in Gaza

Hassan Majdi Abu Wardi is the latest to be killed by the Israeli army in Gaza, Sunday morning.

Abu Wardi was killed with members of his family after an Israeli strike that targeted his home in Jabalia’s Nazla neighbourhood, north of the Gaza Strip.

His murder brings the total number of journalists killed by Israeli gunfire against Gaza to 220 according to the Government Media.

This latest murder is being condemned journalists worldwide including the International Journalists Federation, Arab Journalists Union.

Abu Wardi was the chief editor of Barq Gaza news. Israeli is trying to kill the word in Gaza. Since Israeli re-launched its war on the Strip on 19 March, around 20 journalists were killed for covering the atrocities committed by the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip.

Israel Intensifies Genocidal Campaign in Gaza

Israel has intensified its genocidal campaign in Gaza through one of the most extensive and lethal assaults since the beginning of its offensive, committing massacres and adopting a scorched-earth policy involving the total destruction of remaining neighbourhoods and infrastructure.

This approach follows a pattern sustained for over 19 months, characterised by mass killings, starvation, and the systematic destruction of all means of survival, with the deliberate targeting of Palestinian civilians in their homes, shelters, and vital facilities, all aimed at erasing Palestinian society in Gaza and eliminating any prospect of its return or reconstruction.

In recent days, Israeli occupation forces have escalated their assault across various areas of the Gaza Strip, carrying out systematic destruction of what remains of homes and civilian infrastructure, and committing mass killings of the population. This forms part of a policy designed to destroy all aspects of life, depopulate the area, and prevent the continued existence of its residents— a prelude to the imposition of a colonial reality by force, based on the erasure of the indigenous population and the de facto annexation of the territory to Israel, in grave violation of international law, including the prohibition on annexing land by force.

Euro-Med Monitor’s field team documented the killing of more than 115 Palestinians in the northern Gaza governorate alone in less than 12 hours since dawn on Friday. The casualties followed Israeli airstrikes on at least 10 residential homes in Tel al-Zaatar (Jabalia) and Al-Salatin neighbourhood (Beit Lahia).

These homes were completely destroyed with residents inside, resulting in the deaths of dozens of civilians, including women and children, in what amounts to a series of mass killings reflecting an escalating pattern of systematic violence against civilians in the Strip.

More than half of the victims remain trapped beneath the rubble, as rescue and civil defence teams are unable to reach them due to the lack of resources and equipment. Meanwhile, dozens of bodies and wounded individuals have overwhelmed the corridors of the Indonesian Hospital and Al-Awda Hospital, highlighting the complete collapse of Gaza’s healthcare system.

Limited incursions by Israeli ground forces were reported from two directions, north of Beit Lahia and east of Jabalia, under heavy artillery and air cover. There is growing concern that these ground operations could expand, placing hundreds of thousands of civilians, already living in tents under continuous bombardment, hunger, and daily violence, at even greater risk.

In addition, Israeli artillery targeted Palestinian civilians as they attempted to flee and search for shelter following repeated waves of bombardment. These attacks resulted in the killing of 10 people in the Al-Dur al-Gharbi area of Beit Lahia, and 8 more in the Azbet Abd Rabbo area of Jabalia.

Over the past two days, Israeli forces have systematically destroyed a large number of partially damaged residential buildings in northern Gaza, in what appears to be a continuation of a broad campaign to obliterate entire urban areas, specifically targeting civilian population centres.

In recent days, the Israeli army has adopted a scorched-earth policy east of Khan Younis, while continuing its destruction of entire neighbourhoods in Rafah. Civilian Israeli contractors have also taken part in this effort, reflecting a deliberate intent to erase the city from the map.

These developments represent the practical implementation of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent statements, in which he declared: “We will continue destroying Gaza’s homes until the Palestinians have no shelter left, and nothing remains but for them to leave. The only problem is finding countries willing to take them.”

This statement constitutes a clear admission from Israel’s highest political authority of an intent to uproot an entire population, an intent now being realised on the ground through the systematic destruction of all means of survival.

The recent massacres, particularly in Khan Younis and northern Gaza, mark a dangerous escalation in the targeting of civilians. Israel is deploying overwhelming and indiscriminate firepower without justification or the presence of active combat, strongly indicating that civilians themselves are the direct targets— a grave violation of international law.

The widespread destruction policy carried out by Israel cannot be classified as serving any legitimate military objective. Rather, it constitutes part of a deliberate and systematic approach to genocide, aimed at dismantling Palestinian society in Gaza,physically and demographically, by stripping it of the means to survive, eliminating it entirely, and preventing any future return.

The international community must act urgently to stop this ongoing genocide, initiate serious investigations into the crimes committed, and take effective measures to ensure the protection of civilians and bring an end to the culture of impunity that has emboldened Israel to commit grave violations without accountability.

The international community must impose economic, diplomatic, and military sanctions on Israel for its systematic and grave violations of international law. This includes banning the export of weapons or dual-use items to Israel, prohibiting the purchase of such items from it, halting all forms of political, financial, and military support and cooperation, freezing the financial assets of officials involved in crimes against Palestinians, imposing travel bans on them, and suspending trade privileges and bilateral agreements that grant Israel economic advantages enabling it to continue committing crimes against the Palestinian people.

States must also launch criminal investigations into Israeli and international companies involved in supplying the Israeli military with weapons and heavy equipment used in carrying out acts of genocide. This includes bulldozers, surveillance systems, and spyware used to track and target civilians. Public and private investments in these companies must be withdrawn, and the companies themselves must be blacklisted nationally and internationally.

States with universal jurisdiction laws must issue arrest warrants for Israeli political and military officials implicated in the crime of genocide and initiate legal proceedings — even in absentia — under their international legal obligations to prosecute such crimes and combat impunity.

An independent international mechanism must be established to preserve evidence related to the crime of genocide in Gaza. This body should document and safeguard digital evidence, satellite imagery, and testimonies from victims and survivors for use before international judicial bodies, particularly the International Criminal Court (ICC).

The ICC must expedite its investigations and issue arrest warrants for Israeli officials responsible for international crimes committed in the Gaza Strip. It must acknowledge and treat Israel’s actions as acts of genocide without equivocation. Member states of the Rome Statute must be reminded of their legal obligations to fully cooperate with the Court, ensure the enforcement of its arrest warrants, bring the perpetrators to international justice, and end the cycle of impunity.
