Israel’s Military Humiliation

Israel is at an all-time low despite its high tech weapons and military support from many countries in the world on top of which is the United States which stands accused of facilitating the ongoing genocide against Gaza and Lebanon.

Ahmad Mansour writes on X makes the point clearly:

“Israel is living in a historical state of unprecedented military, political and security humiliation. It is under the blows of the resistance in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon, it is in a state of great military and psychological defeat despite all its capabilities.

Globally, it has become an outcast according to international law, and its leaders are criminals wanted by international justice. Security-wise, its Iron Dome is helpless in the face of Hezbollah’s missiles that are pounding Tel Aviv and its military bases.

Its soldiers are psychologically and physically broken, with suicide or the desire to take one’s life is spreading among the ranks of the Israeli army.

It is a historic turning point for the “Zionist project”, in which all the countries that support it stand helpless in the face of the resistance that is fighting it with primitive weapons compared to its top-of-the-art weaponry that have appeared in history.”

Al-Duwairi: Hamas, Jabalia and Fall of 28 Israeli Soldiers

Retired military, strategic expert Major-General Fayez al-Duwairi said the military operations carried out by the Qassam Brigades recently in Jabalia camp, north Gaza, resulted in the deaths and injuries of at least 28 Israeli soldiers, while the occupation army only announced one or two injuries.

The Hamas military wing, the Qassam Brigades in footage, Saturday showed the destruction of seven Israeli military vehicles in the Jabalia camp; including the targeting of Merkava tanks, military bulldozers, and an armored personnel carrier with shells and missiles from close range.

Injured but fighting

Al-Duwairi explained on Al Jazeera the Qassam footage included several remarkable qualitative operations. He noted what was most surprising was the operation made by one of the injured fighters by targeting a Merkava tank using an explosive charge.

He added: “The first [camera] shot has more than one dimension, as the fighter is talking about his injury, which appeared to be in his hand, prompting him to switch from using a launcher to using a suicide charge, which was more primitive than the previous charges.”

The military expert stressed that what the injured fighter did was an “extraordinary act”, explaining that “no ordinary person or even a trained person can do such an act, especially with an injury to his hand and to get to a tank equipped with all capabilities and potentials”.

In detailing the human losses, Al-Duwairi explained that the armored personnel carrier carries 11 soldiers, and the tank carries a minimum of 4 soldiers with the possibility of the number reaching 10 soldiers, noting the operations included targeting thress tanks, two bulldozers and an armored personnel carrier.

Al-Duwairi pointed out to the nature of the area in which the confrontations took place. He stressed it is a completely rubbled destroyed area were fighters are emerge, adding: “They are a group of fighters, if they had reinforcements the occupation army would not have been able to confront them”.

He pointed out in this situation the large mechanisms of the occupation army “become blindspots”, making their targets possible, but reaching them remains extremely difficult due to the presence of the “quadcopter” aircraft covering the skies of the area.

Generals’ Plan Architect Wants Gaza War Stopped

In a surprising turn of events, retired Israeli General Giora Eiland, who previously came up with the infamous “Generals’ Plan” to force Palestinians out of northern Gaza and kill everyone who remains, has now publicly called for an end to Israel’s war in Gaza.

In an op-ed published in Yedioth Ahronoth Eiland said that besides the return of those held in captivity there are four reasons why Israel should end the war on Gaza:

First, he said Israeli society has grown ‘numb’ the Israeli soldier deaths in Gaza; second Israeli soldiers are being forced to fight; third the high economic costs of war with billions of dollars being wasted; and fourth the whole world wants the war to end on Gaza.

Viral: Barefoot Girl Carries Injured Sister on Her Back

Under the scorching sun, with her small, thin body and bare feet, a Gazan girl carried her injured sister on her shoulders and walked with her for more than two kilometers on her way to Al-Bureij camp, south of Gaza City.

This scene was published by journalist Alaa Hamouda on his Instagram account, and he commented, saying: “A displaced girl carries her injured sister on her shoulders and walks with her for more than two kilometers. I saw her by chance and felt sad for her condition as she walked alone, barefoot, under the scorching sun. I helped her and accompanied her to her place of displacement.”

Hamouda asked the girl if she was tired from carrying her sister, and she answered: “I am tired, and I have been carrying her for an hour, and I just cannot walk any longer.”

The video of the two girls was widely circulated on social media platforms, and caused a state of shock among tweeters, who asked: “What did Israel leave for the children of Gaza from their childhood that it stole from them during a year of genocide, displacement and starvation?”

Commenting on the scene, tweeters said that this is one of the stories that shows how Israel has killed the innocence of Gaza’s children, destroyed their natural lives, and made them grow up before their time.

Others considered the scene very offensive to Arabs, adding that children should not live the darkness of wars.

One blogger commented on the clip, criticizing the global silence about what is happening in Gaza and its children in particular, saying: “Take a moment and watch this video, just look at the reality that they do not want you to see in Gaza. If you watch, you will see all kinds of arguments and attempts at explanation instead of sympathy and deep sadness for what is happening to the children living in this place,” according to Al Jazeera.
