Omanis Protest The Gaza, Lebanese Israeli Genocide

CROSSFIREARABIA – Omanis protested in Muscat in support of Palestine and Lebanon, denouncing the ongoing Israeli aggression.

The protest was held at the Grand Mosque in the capital city of Oman against the ongoing Israeli war that devastated Gaza and killed and injured hundreds of thousands of its people; and continued its deadly war on Lebanon.

The “supporting stand” is trending on the social media with photos and images with Palestinian flags being hoisted.

Oman Mufti on Nasrallah Assassination

The Grand Mufti of Oman, Sheikh Ahmed al-Khalili:

“We are very saddened by the assassination of the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, who has been a significant thorn in the side of the Zionist project for over three decades.

We ask God to strengthen the resistance movements in Lebanon, Palestine, and all Muslim countries. We hope that Muslims will unite on common ground and put aside what divides them.”

Four Killed in Oman Shooting

Four people were killed in a shooting near a mosque in Oman, police stated according to Anadolu.

The incident that was reported on early Tuesday morning, is trending on the social media with much interest because Oman is described as a quite country with no security concerns.

Police stated in a statement the shooting occurred in near a mosque in Wadi Al Kabir in the Omani capital of Muscat. The police further stated that several people were also wounded in the gunfire.

The Royal Omani Police said it has opened up an investigation into this serious incident.

Following the shooting, the US Embassy in Muscat issued a security alert saying: “U.S. citizens should remain vigilant, monitor local news and heed the directions of local authorities,” according to the Turkish news agency.
