Gaza’s Biggest Funeral

Gaza has an appointment tomorrow with the largest funeral in the history of the cause, as the bodies of 112 martyrs from the Abu Sharia and al-Husayneh family will be laid to rest, after their remains were recovered out of a total of 308 martyrs who were killed and whose traces disappeared in a single location.

‘My Friend in Gaza’

I have friends in Gaza and make sure I stay in touch and check on them; I try to support them in any way I can, even though what I can offer is insignificant compared to the magnitude of their sufferings.

I have a friend in particular, a mother of three, who lives in Khan Younis to the south of the Gaza Strip. We are distant relatives. A few days ago, she messaged me saying: “My life is extremely difficult.” And from that message, we had a long conversation in which she revealed some of the burdens of her situation.

“We live in a tent teeming with mosquitoes, insects, rats, and fleas, and my children suffer from rashes and itching.” Then she added a crying emoji. She likes to fill her messages with emojis: Roses, hearts, and crying faces, but she rarely sends a smiley face. Smiley faces have disappeared from their phones.

“Sometimes I receive some money, and I use it to buy food and bread for my children,” she continued.  “Prices here are unbearably high, and I don’t know why. When I have something extra, I buy them ‘qurshala,’ this is a type of bread they like to eat with their tea. As for the tea, I boil it for them over a wood fire because I don’t have gas. Everything here in Gaza has become exhausting, even the simplest details.

There are still some bakeries open that provide bread and pastries, but they are very few. The Israeli occupation has destroyed almost everything in Gaza, and only a limited number of these bakeries remain, at a time when demand far exceeds supply; therefore, prices have skyrocketed.

Eggs, sugar, and vegetables are now available, along with various types of sweets and coffee.” She says she loves coffee, but doesn’t buy it; the priority now is basic necessities, “not what we like.”

With me in Amman, I can’t imagine how harsh life must be over there; living in places surrounded by rats and insects, and being itchy all day and night. A single mosquito bite is sometimes enough to rob me of my sleep; so how must it be for those who live through all of this is incredulous? I don’t know how they manage to keep their bodies, blankets, and clothes clean in such conditions.

The siege on Gaza continues to tighten its grip, and the Zionists are still devouring it piece by piece, relentlessly targeting its people. Perhaps Gaza is currently experiencing a temporary lull, a kind of respite between phases, as the Zionists are preoccupied with other fronts where they are faltering, but they will return to Gaza again.

Dear reader, if you wish to extend a helping hand to the people of Gaza, there are many reliable organizations through which you can support them, foremost among them the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, the Um Ali Charity Kitchen, and the King Hussein Cancer Center, in addition to accredited associations and initiatives such as the Jordanian Association for Supporting the People of Gaza, the Gaza Hashem Charity Association, and other institutions working to deliver aid to those who need it.

I firmly believe that this criminal, ethnically-based state is doomed to fall, and that what sustains it is not its own strength, but rather the unlimited support it receives. Hence, supporting our people in Gaza to remain on their land is not just a humanitarian act, but a moral and national duty; they are the first line of defense against the expansion of the Zionist project.

‘Palestine Convoy’ Arrives in Turkey Onwards…

The “Palestine Convoy,” which set off from Srebrenica in Bosnia and Herzegovina, arrived in the Turkish capital, Ankara, after crossing Albania and Greece and passing through Istanbul, as part of its solidarity journey with the Palestinian people.

The convoy, comprised of buses and cars, includes more than 500 activists from 20 countries. It arrived in the Kahramankazan district on Monday evening.

The convoy then proceeded from the Grand Mosque to the Ulus district of Ankara, accompanied by members of a civil society organization called the “Ankara Platform for Solidarity with Palestine.” Participants waved both Turkish and Palestinian flags.

A crowd of locals welcomed the convoy, chanting slogans such as: “Greetings to Gaza… the resistance continues,” “Free Palestine from the river to the sea,” and “Don’t remain silent… don’t be complicit in injustice.”

Alp Arslan Aydar, spokesperson for the Ankara Platform for Solidarity with Palestine, thanked all those who supported the convoy.

Aydar stated that Palestine is subjected to “systematic terrorism and expansionist policies practiced by Israel.”

He continued, “The Israeli regime today is an occupying power, not a legitimate state, and it does not belong to this land. Since October 7, 2023, this systematic terrorism has transformed into genocide, while the international community has merely stood by and watched.”

The “Palestine Convoy” is scheduled to continue its journey tomorrow to Konya Province, before proceeding towards the West Bank.

On October 8, 2023, Israel launched a genocidal war on Gaza, resulting in the deaths of more than 73,000 Palestinians and injuries to over 174,000, most of whom are children and women. Ninety percent of the infrastructure has been destroyed.

A ceasefire agreement was reached in October 2025, two years after the start of the genocide. However, Israel continues its daily violations of the agreement, resulting in the deaths of 1,250 Palestinians and injuries to 4,110 others as of Monday. Anadolu

Israeli Settlers Set Fire to Palestinian Lands

Israeli colonists (settlers) carried out terrorist attacks against Palestinian residents and their property south of Nablus, Monday night, setting fire to agricultural land in the town of Beita and attacking Palestinian vehicles with stones near the village of Burin.

Local sources said that several colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, attacked the town of Beita and set fire to Palestinian-owned agricultural land, burning several trees.

In a separate attack, colonists hurled stones at Palestinian vehicles on the bypass road near the village of Burin, south of Nablus, endangering the lives of Palestinian residents. No injuries were reported.

The towns and villages of Nablus governorate have witnessed a significant escalation in colonist attacks, including the burning of agricultural land, assaults on residents, stone-throwing at vehicles, and the destruction of property. The attacks are carried out under the protection of Israeli occupation forces as part of a systematic policy aimed at intimidating Palestinians, restricting their movement and livelihoods, and seizing further Palestinian land according to the Wafa news agency.
