Israeli Soldiers Killed, Injured in 2 Separate Incidents in Gaza

Israeli media reported, Friday night, Israeli soldiers were involved in two separate attacks in the Gaza Strip.

Hebrew media reported, citing military sources, that a deputy company commander and an Israeli soldier were killed during a clash in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.

Hebrew media reported that six Israeli soldiers were injured, one of them seriously, in a security incident in the southern Gaza Strip.

The media indicated that the soldiers targeted in southern Gaza were members of the Israeli Border Guard’s “Yamas” unit.

The Hebrew website Hadashot Bezaman reported that an Israeli helicopter landed at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv, carrying wounded soldiers.

The Hebrew website Hadashot Hamot reported that two security incidents occurred involving Israeli soldiers in the Gaza Strip.

Last Thursday, the Israeli occupation army admitted that an Israeli tank driver was killed and three others were wounded, two of them seriously, in a sniper operation and an anti-tank missile attack targeting an armored force of the occupation army in the buffer zone north of the Gaza Strip.

The occupation army announced, under the “publication permit” clause, that the dead soldier was Sergeant First Class Asaf Kafri, 26 years old, a tank driver in the 79th Battalion.

According to the occupation army statement, an officer from the “Yahalom” special engineering unit was seriously injured, in addition to a reserve soldier from the same battalion, and they were transferred to the hospital for treatment.

Hadashot Hamot TV reported that the incident occurred in the same spot where the soldier Nasasra was killed last week, raising questions within the Israeli military establishment about the reasons for the recurrence of operations in locations where heavy losses have previously been recorded.

It also indicated that the occupation police are closing the Sderot area for fear of infiltration incidents and preventing the movement of settlers for fear of being hit by sniper fire.

Scenes broadcast by Hebrew media showed Helicopter evacuation of wounded Israeli soldiers. These developments come as Israeli military operations continue in the Gaza Strip, amid mounting public pressure within Israel and growing criticism of the performance of the military and political leadership. US Warplanes Makes 1200 Strikes on Yemen Since 15 March

US warplanes launched 1200 airstrikes on Yemen since 15 March the Houthis announced on Friday. The Houthis stated the airstrikes resulted in the killing and wounding hundreds of civilians.

In a statement by the Houthi Foreign Ministry stated the United States ” launched more than 1,200 airstrikes and naval bombardments since mid-March, resulting in the death and injury of hundreds of civilians and the destruction of numerous civilian objects, including residential neighborhoods, ports, health facilities, water tanks, and archaeological sites, in flagrant violation of international law and international humanitarian law.”

It indicated that what the USA is doing in Yemen is “full-fledged aggression and a flagrant violation of the UN Charter and all international norms and conventions.”

The statement considered that Washington is trying, in a “miserable attempt to evade its responsibility for the crimes it is committing in Yemen.”

The group accused Washington of “working to cover up its sinful aggression against Yemen and its crimes against civilians and civilian objects, which are shameful to humanity, as well as its abject failure,” according to Anadolu.

On 15 March, the United States resumed its attacks on Yemen after President Donald Trump ordered his military to launch a “major attack” against the Houthi group, before threatening to “completely eliminate” them.

However, the group ignored Trump’s threat and resumed bombing sites inside Israel and ships in the Red Sea heading to Israel, in response to Tel Aviv’s resumption of its war of extermination against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, which began on 18 March.

With full American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 168,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing.

The Association, an NGO stressed in a statement “the Moroccan people took part in 110 demonstrations in 66 cities in support of Gaza on the 73rd Al-Aqsa Flood Friday, organized under the slogan: Gaza Cries Out to You.”

It added participants condemn the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the accompanying crimes of killing, displacement, starvation, and siege, in addition to the targeting of all aspects of a dignified life guaranteed by all international norms and conventions, in light of “the largest killing operation in history” as reported by Anadolu.

Since 2 March, 2025, Israel closed the Gaza Strip’s crossings and banned the entry of food, relief, medical aid, and goods, causing a significant deterioration in the humanitarian situation of Palestinians, according to governmental, human rights, and international reports.

The genocide continues amid “blatant and unjustified official international silence,” the Assocoation maintained.

It noted that the protesters affirmed their continued “support and assistance to Gaza and all of Palestine until the aggression stops and the Palestinian people are empowered to fully exercise their rights.”

Solidarity demonstrations were held all over the Kingdom including in Casablanca, Inzegane, Oujda, Meknes, Kelaat Sraghna, Tangier, and Tetouan.

In early March, the first phase of a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement between Hamas and Israel, which went into effect on January 19, 2025, concluded with Egyptian and Qatari mediation and American support.

While Hamas adhered to the terms of the first phase, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court, renounced the start of the second phase in response to extremists in his ruling coalition, according to Hebrew media.

Since March 18, Israel has resumed its genocidal crimes by launching violent, widespread airstrikes, most of which targeted civilians in homes and tents housing displaced persons.

With full American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 168,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing.
